Funds are segregated from the assets of MTrading and kept in a regulated banking institution to ensure they are available at all times, which means they cannot be used by the company for its own purposes.
Funds are protected by the Negative Balance Correction Service which means that no matter what happens on the market, you would never find yourself in a situation when you owe something to MTrading.
In case the dispute arises, you’re protected by the Financial Commission that covers each case with up to €20.000.

It’s pretty much like a bank account but with MTrading. You need this account to deposit and withdraw funds so that you can open and then support your current positions.
Your account number is your username.
You can find the password for your MT4 Demo account in the `accounts` section of your personal cabinet. Just click the button `more` next to the account you need a password for.
Your MT4 Live account should be set by you in your personal cabinet in the `accounts` tab. Just click on the account number and then on `change/set password`. If you need to reset the password, you can do it there as well.
Your Demo account and investor passwords are always visible by going to your Trader’s Room accounts page and clicking `Show password`. The investor password gives you view-only access that you can not trade with, while the account password gives you full demo trading access.
If you don’t know your Live account password, you will need to reset it:

Click on `Change password` and follow the instructions.
Please note, investor password gives you view-only access so that you can not trade with such a password and open any new order.

Leverage trading allows traders to open positions much larger than their own capital. It is also called margin trading. MTrading offers up to 1:1000 leverages.
For example, 1:100 leverage means you are required to have 1% of the transaction size in your account as a margin.

Like in a bank account, the money is stored in the specific currency. You can’t change it. If you want another currency, you need to open a new account. There is also a reporting currency which you can change in your profile. This currency is the currency used to display the consolidated reports across all your accounts.
For example, you may have one account in GBP, another account in USD and your reporting currency in EUR, so you see your total balance across your two accounts in EUR.

While all features and functions of a real account are also available for a demo account, you should keep in mind that simulation cannot replicate real trading market conditions. One relevant difference is that the volume executed through the simulation does not affect the market; while in real trading volumes have effect on the market, especially when the deal size is large. To add an expert advisor (EA), first you need to open the MT4 Client Terminal, click on `File` on the top navigation menu, and choose the Open Data Folder in the drop-down menu. In the Open Data Folder click on MQL4 and Experts. The Experts folder is where you can add the expert advisors (EAs). Paste the .mq4 or .ex4 EA file into the Experts folder. Once you are ready with this, restart the MT4 platform by closing it and then reopening it.
First check if trading is allowed by going to Tools -> Options -> Experts tab -> Allow real trading. Then make sure that the expert advisor button on the main toolbar is pressed. You should be able to see a smiley face in the top right-hand corner of your chart which shows that you have activated your EA correctly. If everything is all right, but the EA still does not trade, see your log files via the Experts tab in the Terminal window (you should be able to see what error occurs). Every buy order opens at ASK price and gets closed at BID price, and every sell order opens at the BID price and gets closed at the ASK price. By default, you are only able to see the BID line on your chart. In order to see the ASK line, right-click the particular chart -> Properties -> Common-> and tick the Show ASK line.

There are no limits on keeping your positions open, however, please, take into account that if you hold your positions overnight, `Swap` will be charged for each open order at 00:00 terminal time for the next day.
Please, choose the menu `View` -> `Languages` -> your preferred language and click OK. After you restart the terminal, its language will be changed to the one you have chosen.
It means that you have chosen an incorrect order volume for this account type. Please, check then your settings for order volume and compare them to the trading conditions stated on our website.
It is most likely that the connection with the current server has slowed down. You will need to switch to a faster server. To do it, please, left-click in the bottom right-hand corner of the trading terminal and choose `Rescan servers`.
Try to log into MT4 again (click on `File` -> `Login`) and this time fill in the third field of your terminal (`Server`) with the following IP-address: for the real (live) account: IP, instead of `server name` for demo account: IP, instead of `server name.
The `New order` button may be inactive for the following reasons:
You used your investor password to sign in to МТ4. If the `New order` button, which is located on MT4`s top toolbar, is inactive and grey, then you probably used your investor password to sign in to the terminal. Your investment password is used for observing trading. If this is the case, you will see the `[Investor mode]` status on the `Journal` tab. This means trading operations are unavailable. To start trading, please sign out of the trading terminal (Main menu -> File -> Exit) and restart it. This time, use your trading password to sign in.
There is no Internet connection. Please verify your Internet connection by looking at the indicator in the lower right corner of the terminal. If you have no Internet connection, try signing in to the terminal again; you may have chosen the wrong server or entered the wrong password.
The `Buy` and `Sell` buttons in the New order window may be inactive if you have not entered all the order parameters. If the `Buy` or `Sell` buttons in the New order window are inactive and grey, please verify that you have entered the trading instrument and transaction volume in the corresponding fields. Please also note that an order cannot be opened if your account type does not support executing an order of the specified volume.
